Amy brings real-life understanding of the challenges of having a family in the spotlight. She experienced her college sweetheart being drafted into the NBA in 1999. During that rookie campaign, they welcomed the birth of their son. This experience gives her an ongoing insider's perspective, so much so that she is often retained by other large law firms for her expertise in the unique lifestyle of the rich and famous. Needless to say, she understands the ins and outs of such on a much deeper level than the vast majority of attorneys. Amy Owen graduated from Arizona State University's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law in 2011 with the Dean's Award, in recognition of outstanding performance. She is an Arizona attorney general's office-trained mediator and a member of the Arizona Association for Justice (Arizona Trial Lawyers Association).
